Brief Rewarding Safari with Family

Very enjoyable one overnight visit; good accommodations for our group. We arrived late but they agreed to re-open the kitchen to serve us some french fries; the kids were starving. The game drive was very successful; we viewed antelope, giraffes, and ostrich (with young).

Very good to just relax with a big group

The rooms were nice, clean and big. Staff was all smiles, and more then happy to assist with any requests. The atmosphere was great, very peaceful and there were peacocks roaming around. The spa treatments were good and the pool was quite big so fun for the kids. Definitely recommend going for the segway or bike tour.

Not what we expected!

We chose to stay here for one night travelling through Botswana from Zimbabwe to South Africa. On arrival at the gate we were 'greeted' by a very rude man and if we'd had a choice after a 7 hour drive we would have found an alternative. However we persevered and on finally gaining entry found the rest of the staff to be very friendly. The accommodation is very clean but more like a motel than a game lodge, with every room facing into the centre rather than out to the surroundings. We wanted to do a game drive but they weren't doing one that afternoon and we had to leave before the one in the morning. We then decided to have a drink on the viewing deck but that was closed as someone had booked it for a private meal. We then wanted a meal but most of the options weren't available. I had a salad, which was nice and fresh, my husband had the ribs but wasn't impressed. The morning breakfast was a buffet which was OK but not very warm. We left early and didn't stop to talk to the rude man on the gate. We won't go back

Poor reception

Poor reception. No giraffes as promised. Hidden charges. Rarely write poor reviews but today had to. Has great ambience and potential but nothing much to offer in terms of service. Would not go again there.
