The best way to experience the Shala River
"Definitely the best way to experience the Shala River. We were picked up near Skoder and took a boat for the first part of the journey, avoiding the drive to Lake Komani. Our guide, Nico, was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. Highly recommended!

Wonderful surrounding
You do not have a lot of choice where to eat something, when you land there after a boat trip and you have just a bit more than an hour to stay. Here the food was good, both the soup and the trout. The service was ok and the staff was friendly and funny.

One of the best places to visit in Albania
I have traveled all around Albania and outside Albania, and i must say this is one pf the best places to visit. Definitely a must visit place.
I had the chance to have a little conversation with the owner, and he told me that everything was imported by boat, even when the boats needed 1 hour and a half to arrive there, just to not destroy anything there. They built the zip-line, to import the things from the other side of the river to the guest house. If you listen to their story, you will be amazed.
And they have opened a lot of work positions for people in need.
Their work is amazing.
