Good Pivot Point for the North
This was our second visit to Tranquilles and it didn't dissapoint. We like the fact it is a small scale B&B with the spave benefits of Bev and Martin's other business interests - cooking classes / functions / meal supplier. It means you get the space of a much larger premise, it also means you get a wonderful cooked breakfast and Dinner if you chose to eat in. There is also a conservatory/lounge room for guests to retire to after dinner. We had it to ourselves for 4 nights. We chose Port Sorell as a base to cartwheel off to places like Cradle mountain region, the Tamar river / Pipers River wine regions and the northern coastline including the Tarkine for a day trip. Thank you Bev and Martin for another great stay see you again.

Amazing experience
Bev and Martin were wonderful hosts and made us feel like family.Our room was impeccable and very clean with some lovely little sweet treats.Also the breakfast and evening meals were amazing and delicious.

Tranquil stay at TRANQUILLES in Tasmania.
Tranquilles, an excellent fascility in Port Sorrel Tasmania is a real gem. Run by the very competant and friendly Bev. We enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. The comfortable, cosy lounge and a glass of port, added to a very enjoyable stay. The classic neat room and bathroom is just what you need after a day's ttavelling. Breakfast was 5 star with home made baco, saussges and various jams. Best coffee I had in Tasmania. I can reccommend this lovely Victorian style guest house.

Wonderful!!
Thank you to our hosts Bev and Martin. You provided us a wonderful experience of comfort, space (two living areas and outdoor) and delicious breakfast fare each morning. Real coffee too! Great location. We stayed in the Iris Room and would recommend. (However if you like a larger bedroom, I would recommend the Province Suite.) Glorious start to our Tasmania holiday.
