Amazing hosts, Fabulous place to stay for groups

We were a large group of families, with children of from 8 to 16 yrs. Fernleigh was perfect for us. The lodge and cabins were comfortable, with an eclectic feel. Loved the bike track, table tennis competitions, swimming pool, and tennis court. Our group enjoyed it all. Monica and Andrew (Hosts) were most helpful, very relaxed and very knowledgeable of the area. Highly recommend for a fun weekend with plenty to do at Fernleigh and the surrounding area.

Horrible Place, rent at your own risk

The Bed was full of spiders and the kitchen was sticky, extremely unhygienic kitchen disappointed with the accommodation. I thought this would have been great but i spoke to quick, the bathrooms are also terrible full of dirt and not even looked at once by the owners, water does not work properly and changes drastically.

Lodge accomodation

We enjoyed the long weekend at Fernleigh with a large group of 7 families stayng in the Lodge and cabins. Facilities are basic but clean with comfortable rooms and outdoor bbq and garden areas. Extras such as on onsite bmx bike track, pool, tennis court, basketball table tennis and the farm animals kept our kids ages 8-16 happy and outside. The location is great for access to the lake, mountain bike riding, walks and fishing and only a short drive into Mansfield. The stunning scenery and laid back bush theme of Fernleigh made for a wonderfully relaxing getaway.

Nice place to stay. We didn't use the facilities, and only stayed in a cottage, which was comfortable. Heating is good.

Short break

The miners cottage was clean and comfortable.
Bedding was clean
However the toaster and the hot plate were not clean and the water kettle was not clean too.
There is no free internet as we had no network during our stay.
But there is lot of space for kids to play the bike park is good. Nice walking trails.
Overall a pleasant stay just don't expect everything mentioned under facilities to be available.
