Fantastic hotel with a view
Nice hotel over Lake Constance.
We really liked it.
Very good restaurant with only local ingredients.
With indoor pool and sauna, steam bath and sunbathing area.
Rooms are very nicely decorated and the beds are so comfortable.
Would definitely come back.

A wonderful holiday in a great hotel
We came across this hotel by chance because our previous resort in Bregenz disappointed us a lot. Fortunately, you have to say!
Hotel Schönblick doesn't promise too much, but more on that later!
The all-round perfect, friendly and helpful service began with the request! We wanted to book 1 apartment in the annex, but the nice lady (who answered our email within 10 minutes) advised us to book an apartment in the main house, as there is a lift here and we can spare ourselves unnecessary strain. This is of course wonderful for my husband, as he is disabled by his stroke.
We followed the recommendation and booked immediately fixed. What can you say... The lady had recommended the perfect room! From the lift a few steps, spacious, handicapped accessible bathroom! Perfect!!! The nice lady at the reception even helped us with the luggage, although I stressed several times that this really was not necessary!
Yes, air conditioning is not available, but with a strategically well placed umbrella and the nicely provided fan, the apartment was also for my husband, who is constantly warm, our room was always well air conditioned.
The breakfast is great, vegetarians like me also find a great selection here and the very friendly ladies and gentlemen from the service regularly follow up, ask specifically if you want something and quickly clean up used.
Sunday is actually closed (breakfast of course as always, but the rest of the day the restaurant is closed) and see here too... The wonderful lady at the reception not only looked after them, but also offered cold drinks to thirsty cyclists, serving coffee and cake to hotel guests on the side!
I really need to highlight the service! So nice and so accommodating! From apprentices (shy but sweet) to chefs (who are also the hotel's boss, by the way!) and don't miss out on greeting guests personally and addressing nice words to them, just a great team! The boss herself still carried us luggage after a warm farewell!
The only shortcoming is actually the parking situation! The underground car park is incredibly narrow and best suited for small cars like Smart or VW Up, SUV need 2 spaces. The parking spaces directly in front of the hotel are very short, also suitable for small cars. The few other parking spaces are quickly occupied, of course. Since my husband is disabled, but I cannot drive, he needs a parking space where he can open the door (driver's side) wide). Unfortunately, he was completely parked, although he left his disabled ID in the car clearly visible! Saturday night we got no parking space at all, but again the fantastic team came to our aid. The ladies were ready to clear their employee parking!!!
This is my only shortcoming and my little tip... 1-2 parking spaces, a little bigger and for people with disabilities, which you can reserve in advance (my husband and I would like to pay 12-15 euros per night extra), then EVERYTHING would really be perfect, but you get our full score already today, we look forward to more nice holidays with you

Poor price quality ratio
The rooms are a bit old, a bit old-fashioned, only the bathroom is quite nicely renovated. Rest of the hotel also older. Terrace has beautiful views, but the equipment also leaves much to be desired. Breakfast is ok, but doesn't blow your mind. All in all, this does not justify the price of 300 for the room. Directions also arduous.

Just under average hotel
The house is old and the hospitality is not very great.
The price/performance ratio is not right for me at all. The location and the kitchen are good. The restaurant is expensive and if you want a menu change this will be charged separately. It's too bad.

Stunning views but no air con
The hotel has a stunning view of the very large lake. We checked into the hotel on a Sunday afternoon and had to wait some time as the receptionist was also looking after the cafe, so very stretched. The hotel is very traditional but because of this, there is no air con and the room was hot. Also there was no kettle in the room.
