Good hotel with good service, hostess Sabine is great.
We (2 couples) had a very nice stay in this authentic family hotel during our week of winter sports. Nothing was too crazy and mega good service. Special shout out to hostess Sabine who ran the show for you. Every day your room was cleaned. Breakfast and evening food was tasty and well catered for. We had a wonderful holiday together.
The hotel is well located 10 meters walk where the ski bus passes and that 2 stops away from the ski lift so within 4 minutes you are in the lift up.
Parking is easy in front of the door.
The CinCin is also next to it, far enough that you can’t hear the sound we’ve only been there once.
Hotel is noisy, but that is most hotels in Austria. We slept well every night.

Nice weather, not being able to enter pool
Hotel chosen to the garden with the pool, was also lovely swimming lake, indicated that we wanted to in the pool, no, dirty tarpaulin did not come off, water too dirty and cold?? Was thick in the 25 degrees, too bad, not worth repeating
Small room and small bathroom
Day 1 we were asked if we wanted an egg for breakfast, yes nice, waited 20 minutes, no egg, day 2 it was not asked, on day 3 an egg
Location was top, close to the cable car and on a nice hiking trail

Very cosy
A very nice hotel, clean, quiet, the staff very kind. Cleaning every day, the breakfast so good and only good words about this hotel. I liked it very much. Also it is very easy to reach the main objectives of this area.

Very Cosy & Comfortable Place to Stay
I have very fond memories of this place as a child. The rooms as well as the dining room downstairs are comfortable and cosy, and the hosts are very friendly. The hotel is located close to other restaurants and the ski cable-car.
If you're coming to Gerlos, I would definitely advise this hotel for your stay.

above and beyond our expectations
On a week-long ski trip Jan 2015, our large group was fortunate enough to book at the Waldhof in Gerlos. The management and staff were kind, accommodating, and exceptionally patient with our sometimes "overly energetic" (especially after a few hours of apres-ski fun at the Cin-Cin bar that is just a few steps away) group. Excellent location, good meals, and (did I mention?) wonderful staff. Book your next visit to the Austrian Alps here with confidence.
