A quick Trip but a surprised deposit
The hotel was absolutely beautiful, and from the moment we arrived, the staff were so welcoming and friendly. ❤️
I travelled from London to Brussels with my three-year-old for a day and a half as part of a Eurostar package, so we were mainly out exploring and didn’t get the chance to experience everything the hotel had to offer.
The room was lovely and comfortable, and I really enjoyed our stay. I also know a little basic French, which made the experience even more fun!
One thing I wasn’t aware of beforehand was the €100 deposit, so that’s definitely something I’d recommend checking when booking. Luckily, my friend helped me out because I was only staying for one night.
Overall, we had a lovely stay and I would happily recommend the hotel. ✨

Received a free room upgrade at check in, which was amazing! Very comfortable stay, good mattress, quiet surroundings, helpful staff and great air conditioning.

Ismail is to be highly commended for his great customer service and efficiency.
He helped our daughters change room when their toilet didn’t work. Their room was also showing some wear and tear in the sofa. He showed concern about the situation, and was great in handling adverse situation such as an irate mother.
The other room (husband and mine)was wonderful, though. And the daughters’ room, once it was changed to another room was good, too.
Another employee who was to be commended was Alvin, who was always smiling and helpful.
Will stay again at Le Chatelaine if we were to be back in Brussels.

Ismail at the Front Desk was extremely helpful in resolving a situation in our daughter’s room where the toilet doesn’t work. He should be highly commended for his excellent customer service. Alvin also is quite efficient and prompt in responding to a request we had.
We will stay again at the hotel because of its staff and the location.

Highly commend the staff for their efficiency and high customer service level. Ismail gets a special mention for helping out with a situation involving our daughter’s room toilet not working. And Alvin for responding promptly to a few requests of ours. Both are friendly hard workers.
The hotel is lovely and in a great location. However, it’s rather old and some rooms probably need a little more upkeep.
