I love it
A beautiful small hotel, full of history just like the area it’s located in. The room was excellent, very clean, and the girls at the reception were friendly, smiling, and welcoming. A big yes from us. We will recommend to our friends and family for sure

Dangerous hotel
Hotel with dangerous architectural barriers.
We had everything.
We had to change the two rooms for the dangerous stairs without a railing to access them
They gave us two lower grades.
They tried to charge us 4 breakfasts that will be included in the price of the original rooms.
Breakfast was two days a tug of war for them to replenish food (a couple of Chinese workers or similar)
A customer fell down the stairs and the person attending the reception had to accompany the hospital.
The reception girl was very attentive and professional
Overnight days 2 and 3 of June.
I have more than 300 opinions on record which attest to my lie.

Poor
The hotel is very conveniently located for visiting Diocletian's palace and the lovely seafront promenade.
It is an old converted building as are all of the hotels in this area. This might account for the rather musty smell in our room.
It is in a pedestrianised zone which meant using Google maps to find our way from the taxi drop off.
We arrived in the evening and had to call for someone to come to let us in. There is no 24 hour reception.
The power socket and light switches on one side of the bed did not work.
The safety deposit box did not work. We spoke to one of the girls at breakfast who tried changing the batteries. This did not work so she gave us a key. This worked intermittently so we carried our passports, cards and cash with us.
The tv had no connection. The same girl said that she would call someone who would deal with this. We saw her preparing another room at lunchtime and she said that she would call again. It was still not working that evening so we tried calling the number given but there was no answer. We spoke to her again the following morning.
We never did see the tv working.

One More Night
We had a great stay at this very traditional yet modernized bijou hotel in Split. Our receptionist Ina was just delightful and very helpful when we needed to extend our stay due to a flight cancellation.
We would definitely recommend this hotel for proximity to the old city yet just far enough out (300m) to be quiet at night

Zimmer ansprechend, Gastfreundschaft spärlich vorhanden, Lage nicht autofreundlich
Relativ schwierig zu finden, da es unter einem anderen Namen beschriftet war als durch uns gebucht. Mit dem Auto nicht empfehlenswert, da die Unterkunft über keine Parkplätze verfügt und aufgrund der Lage schwer erreichbar ist. Aufgrund eines Fehlers des Reisebüros, war das Hotel bei unserer Ankunft noch nicht bezahlt. Der ganze Umgang mit der Situation und die sofortige Zahlungsforderung empfanden wir als sehr komisch. Wir würden nicht mehr in diese Unterkunft gehen und empfehlen sie daher auch nicht weiter.
