Situated in Split, 2.9 km from Bacvice Beach, Hotel Mondo features accommodation with a fitness centre, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. Featuring a restaurant, the property also has a bar, as well as an indoor pool and a sauna.

Derelict buildings, kids screaming up and down the hallways, go elsewhere
There are so many other lovely, well-situated hotels in Split, don’t bother. The view from the room is attached. The other side is freeways. The derelict building separates the hotel from the train tracks and more garbage and debris.
Although there is a giant supermarket nearby, the hotel is situated between major roads and in an area with not much nearby in terms of coffee shops, bakeries or restaurants.
But back to the view, if you like to watch a building being destroyed from the inside out with a backhoe, including tearing down walls and breaking glass—this is your spot! If you are thinking of a nice view, peace and quiet, then go elsewhere.
The kids sports team spent hours running up and down the stairs and the hallway. For many hours, right up until curfew at 10 pm.
The rooms are spacious & the air conditioning works.
The shower has very low pressure and the shower head does not work properly so it sprays out in different places.
Coffee is pretty terrrible.
Hotel staff were not very responsive to any suggestions like informing people they are across from a derelcit demolition site, or that it was happening at all. Not their problem.
If you are on a group booking, you have to pay 18 euro to access any of the other facilities—even if you want to escape the view of the demolition and go to the pool. Too bad I couldn’t attach the video of the demolition.
Also no front door pick up from cabs or uber, you need to walk to the edge of the property and wait there.
It is a 20-25 minute walk down a major thoroughfare to old town.
Would not recommend, especially given so many other beautiful locations in Split.
I also question it being 4 stars, much more like a 3-star hotel including that you get an all in one combo soap, shampoo, conditioner bolted to the wall for hand soap and shower.

Unfortunately, this was one of the most disappointing hotel stays we’ve had.
The hotel is located 20–25 minutes by car from the city center, which may not suit travelers wanting easy access to the main attractions.
The property was poorly maintained. Our room had an unpleasant smell, the carpet was torn, and the bathroom and bathtub were old and worn. The shampoo and soap provided were among the poorest quality we’ve experienced. Housekeeping also failed to replace our bed sheets during our stay.
The outside area around the hotel was untidy, with garbage containers nearby, creating a poor first impression.
As loyal members, we were also disappointed that the staff refused to deliver our welcome drinks to our room unless we paid a delivery fee. At many other hotels, these drinks are brought to the room with glasses as part of the welcome experience.
Overall, the hotel did not meet our expectations in terms of cleanliness, maintenance, or service. Unfortunately, I would not recommend staying here.

The area where it is located is very ugly
Clean hotel with good rooms, but the area is very ugly and dirty. By the side of some train tracks, it is completely abandoned.

Great stay at Mondo
Outstanding service, making every guest feel welcome. The staff were always friendly, professional, and ready to help with any request. Breakfast was a true highlight, especially homemade cakes. Big parking. Free of charge!!!
