A good place to return to.
Have both stayed and ate at Backhaus a number of times. Old, authentic, cozy place with good atmosphere, great service and good food, and a really nice courtyard. Will very much come back,

HELSTEGT Red Spit
I ordered a large helminth red spat and yes it was real helminth. In came a dark brown paneret (frity steget) dry red spat, the paned skin was hard and the meat dry. So they don't lie when they write HELSTEGT. For they love a butter fried red spat, don't order this.

Fresh ingredients, next time!
The service was ok, the food was unfortunately no more worth a star. Roasted steaks, powder bernaise and sky sauce. The chicken soup was really good, and good curvetbtöt. Super unfortunate that the steaks are not made fresh after ordering, and that at least no proper skysovs are made from scratch, the prices absolutely do not reflect the quality. The surroundings are perfect, and the party rooms invite to a really good party, so 6 stars to the premises.

Ring and tarvely accommodation
There is the lowest accommodation place I have experienced. There are extremely rough rooms and there is nothing that works
Shared toilet and bath which would have been ok if it was just nearby to be clean and usable. No soap as promised. So a bad experience that made me choose to drive from the place again

Hidden affordable gem with great seafood
We weren't impressed with the high prices at the fancy restaurants near the river, so we kept walking hoping we'd find something. There was a lot of construction in the middle of town, but we went around it and ended up at Restaurant Backhaus. The owner was very friendly and we ordered two very nice (and large!) fish dishes for a more affordable price.
