The owner is perfect.
He has a dog, so I don’t recommend people who don’t like it.

It was disappointing after reading all the good reviews. The owner was very welcoming and smiley. The room was satisfactory but Spartan. The bathroom bowl was not clean ( black) the shower tiles could have ingrained dirt scraped off with a finger nail and the sink tap surrounds were equally dirt engrained- not what we expected. The area was lovely with a super cafe a short walk away. Unfortunately we could not recommend this place to friends,

Very warm Welcoming

Welcoming very warm, very quiet place in a small village typical of Brittany. A little flat: Difficulty for dinner in the evening in the village.

Merci michael pour vos observations constructives .Petit complément , nous avons le cafe du village à 200 metres de l'établissement qui propose des plats cuisinés ainsi que quatre restaurants situés à quelques kilometres de l'établissement . Enfin , nous proposons des bocaux en verre pour les randonneurs à vélo arrivant du canal d'ille et rance Au plaisir de vous accueillir une fois prochaine . vincent

Beautiful house but ...

The building and gardens are beautiful but inside was another story. We stayed one night in the Baroque Room but the furnishings and decoration had no connection to Baroque.
The room had an air conditioner but no remote control to operate it – we worked out how to do it eventually. The shower was very small with sliding doors that didn’t fully meet meaning water escaped onto the floor. In addition, it didn’t drain properly – slowly filling up as it was used. No hand towel was provided. There was only one free power outlet available in the whole room for charging phones, toothbrushes etc.
Breakfast was basic comprising just orange juice and bread, butter and jam. Coffee was weak and lukewarm.
On departure we provided our honest feedback to the host based upon our experience in other properties across France but it was not well received - with my wife being called a “complicated woman”. Overall, our stay was a disappointment.

We listen carefully to our guests' feedback in order to improve. 600 guests stayed at our establishment in 2025, with only one such harsh and unconstructive comment. Rest assured that in 2026 we will continue to provide the same high-quality welcome, meticulous care of our rooms, and delicious, organic, and varied breakfast. Respectfully yours.
