Central Hackescher Markt has a balcony and is located in Berlin, within just 800 metres of Berlin TV Tower and 500 metres of Neues Museum. Free WiFi is provided throughout the property and private parking is available on site.

PERFECT LOCATION!!! BOOK IT!
My husband and I went to Berlin for our 1 year anniversary and decided to stay at the Hackescher Apartments.
For those who just want a 'to-the-point' review...
APARTMENT:
- Only accepts CASH
- Clean (note there is a 40 Euro cleaning charge added onto your bill)
- Open
- Spacious
- Secure
- Has everything you need
- Supermarket directly below the building
- Bars/restaurants right at your door step
LOCATION:
- Right next to the Berlin dome
- Hackescher Train station at your doorstep
- Bars and restaurants all right outside the apartments
- Can easily walk to all major attractions of Berlin
- PERFECT LOCATION!
GETTING THERE:
Don't bother with a taxi - they will cost you around 60 Euros (one way).
When you come out of the arrivals hall at Schonefeld airport - you need to walk outside and to the left. There will be a footpath leading across the road to the train station.
Once you've entered the train station, there are ticket machines along the wall (there can be long queues for this). Don't worry - the ticket machines are also in English.
Buy a single pass (if you don't have plans to use the trains for the remaining day) to zones ABC.
There are two ways to get to Hackescher Markt by Berlin transport - max cost 5 Euros each:
1 - jump on the S9 (maroon line) to Ostkreuz and change onto the S7 or S75 (purple) - this will take you straight to Hackescher Market
2 - Take the RE7 or RB14 direct to Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Market is about 7mins walk from there
Don't be afraid to use their transport system - its super easy.
If you are familiar with London transport, here the easiest way of understanding it:
'S' is the same as the London Underground
'U' is the same as the DLR
'BAHN' is the same as the London Overground
ABC tickets work on all three lines
We had a wonderful stay here and what made it even better was that everything was at our door step. We could easily wonder around Berlin and go back to the apartment for an afternoon nap if we wanted -

Quality apartment, perfect location
Really simple - stay here! The apartment was modern, clean and spacious. All the facilities you could want. I went with 3 friends but it would be perfectly suitable for families or any parties. It is less than 30 seconds walk to the station and the square/market area which has lots of places to eat and drink. You are a 5 minutes walk from Alexanderplatz and the TV Tower. You are walking distance to lots of points of interest and shops.

Large, modern and clean apartment right in the centre of Berlin
We booked this apartment last minute for our stay in Berlin. It was our first visit to the wonderful city so wanted to be central to all the key areas. It is in the stylish Hackescher Markt quarter of central Berlin, just a 5 minutes walk away from the popular Alexanderplatz and opposite Hackescher Markt Train Station which made it so easy to get to different areas of town. The apartment was very large and would have been great for a family to stay in - it was also very quiet.
Philippe from the bookings team was really helpful before and upon arrival and made sure we had maps of the area and gave us some great recommendations on what to do and see. We had great views across town and there was also a great TV that we hooked our laptop up to watch a movie after tiring day of sightseeing. Would definitely stay here again!

great apartment great location
Recently stayed and loved the location of these apartments. It was for 5 adults and it was modern, large, clean and comfortable. We enjoyed eating breakfast on the balcony. Even though it is located in a busy place the soundproofing was excellent and we didn't hear any outside noise. Great restaurant area and fab Irish bar 10 paces from the front door. The young man that met us was very helpful. We took our car and the parking was underneath. We had a great stay and will be going back.

Great location
We spent 4 nights i desember here. The apparment was very well equiped and the location is perfect for searching Berlin. Close to bahn and rail. Good restaurants and shops . A perfect place to stay while you visit Berlin.
