The staff was very kind, and they added breakfast for those of us who ran the Berlin marathon. I really enjoyed my stay. Thank you!

They charge €10 for arrivals after 8pm and €20 for after 10pm, even though the receptionist was waiting for others to arrive after 10pm. So a good money maker for the business instead of having an online check in system and a locked key box or door code like most modern places. Just to make extra money, clearly. The first night I had no hot water, and the next day the same problem, the water would go warm, about 30°C - 35°C and then cold again. I was told nobody would come on a weekend, and I was the only person to report this. The next day I only got very cold water, I ran the shower for 10 minutes, it was just cold. So I called the phone, over 1 hour no answer. I messaged on hotels app, no answer, so I had a cold wash with a towel. Later that day I saw the receptionist and she offered to come look. When running the sink tap on hot, and the shower, I was able to get a stream of warm but not hot water. The next day they arrived and fixed it. I asked what kind of compensation do I get for this inconvenience, I said to ask the manager. I got no compensation for this. All in all a very average hotel not bad except if something goes wrong you are left having cold showers and no compensation, they only want to take money for late arrivals, you'd think arriving before midnight is quite standard for a hotel and would not charge a fee, and you’d think if a guest was reporting a cold shower that would be a priority. Wouldn’t stay again.

personnel was friendly. It would have been nice if it would have been possible to have a drink in the evening. Everything was closed.I had to smoke on the street and didn´t feel safe. Accomodation was clean, breakfast was good.

Great location but otherwise poor
Because of no internet we moved after 1 night to another room (much smaller, very small shower and smaller bed and only 1 chair for 2 people) in both rooms the curtains were too narrow for the window so early light in the room. The first 2 days the wifi was good but not after. Several days at breakfast the scrambled eggs and sausages were on already at 08:35 while breakfast is until 10:00. One morning at 08:45 we were no longer pistolets, bread, scrambled eggs, sausages, yogurt, fruit, salami and cheese, everything was already gone. When I said some of this, bread and ham just came and that was it. Sir said I should send an e-mail. I did that and then you get the answer “you should have reported that immediately”... another email sent that I paid too much because of a few days no breakfast and smaller room but they don’t respond anymore. The lady who did breakfast at the weekend was really very good, she complemented everything well and was very friendly. The location is perfect but so don't expect internet and breakfast! With the exception of the 2 ladies who work there (1 weekday reception and 1 weekend breakfast) the service is really bad.

Unpresentable
I traveled to Germany with a group of friends. We wanted to visit Dusseldorf, Colonia, Bad Salzuflen and to finished in Berlin. Thus, we booked in Pension ABC a 2-rooms-apartment for 5 persons from 2023-10-10 to 2023-10-12 (2 nights). The tenth of october when we stayed in Bad Salzuflen, we received a call from the pension ABC where they told us that we couldn´t sleep in their pension and they did´t give us any solution. So, we had to sleep those days in Postdam, we were deceived and because of their fault we couldn´t visit Berlin. I am too much annoyed, NEVER BOOK HERE!!!!
