Varied for children, relaxing for parents or grandparents.
We were at Eichenhof with the grandchildren for the first time.
We really enjoyed it; our three children were able to entertain themselves very well. The indoor play barn also impressed with its variety :-)).
Everything is spacious, a beautiful facility, and the apartment is very nice.
We accepted the offer for breakfast as well, and we highly recommend taking it. The visit to the Magic Park rounded off the lovely stay.
We will definitely come back.

Unfortunately, our stay at the Eichenhof last WE did not meet our expectations at all.
We had booked a 4-bed apartment and arrived late at night due to flight delay. To our surprise, only two beds were made, there were no further sheets in the apartment. The next morning we approached the owner of the oak farm about it, but instead of an apology we had to listen to a lecture about the extra effort she would now have to clean the beds used without duvet covers. After all, you have to maintain a certain “standard”. Visibly annoyed, however, we were then brought two sets of albeit unironed sheets.
The breakfast buffet is generous and good quality, the staff friendly. Since my wife and a daughter had to stay in bed with fever, I asked the owner for a tray to bring them breakfast in the room. Instead of reacting with a minimum of sympathy for this situation, I was allowed to listen to a presentation by the owner about the cost-benefit calculation of the breakfast buffet, pointing out that one wants to avoid guests preparing “lunch packages” for the whole day and thus no longer pays the estimated breakfast price. But with grumbling I was prepared two coffees on a tray, but with the note that these had to be paid separately. Can't believe it all! To put it diplomatically, I would say that the proprietor's sympathy values still have significant room for improvement. It was also completely incomprehensible for us that the breakfast price was billed differently. So we were charged 18.90€ per breakfast, my siblings who had also booked rooms there, but in some cases only had to pay 8.90 or 9.50€. When asked about this, the owner justified this with the different categories of rented rooms. What? I haven't understood it to this day, let's just let it take effect.
The apartment was clean, but the facilities were not at all the price-performance ratio. Inexpensive discount furniture, no working batteries in the remote controls, in the hallway and bedroom broken bulbs, in the kitchenette no light source at all, so it is not usable in the evening. The mattresses of the main bed were sagged. When asked about this, there was of course no apology from the owner, but the suggestion that you only have to communicate this, then the errors would also be fixed immediately. The fact that it is standard practice to check a holiday apartment for full functionality before moving in with a guest was apparently not apparent to the owner. Overall, one gets the impression that commerce is the main focus here and the well-being of the guest is not a priority. The pure overnight price per day of 130€, plus 18.90€ for breakfast, plus 30€ for missing bed linen plus 20€ for final cleaning is definitely not justifiable for the quality found in the no man's land in the Nordheide. Too bad, unfortunately not recommended

An absolutely recommended house for families and also for passers-by.
We were guests for one night in transit. We had booked at very short notice and were greeted very friendly. Our room was a fully furnished apartment in an extremely quiet location and yet close to the A1. We were very surprised by the extremely sumptuous breakfast buffet. Many of the delicacies offered were from our own production, super delicious bread, sausage, cheese and much more. A parking lot directly at the house was sher good with the many luggage in the car.

Great for small and also slightly older children with their families.
We were now on the oak farm for the 9th time in a row. Actually, there's nothing more to add. Our grandchildren, now 10 and 14 years old, have felt perfectly comfortable here all these years. Very important the court dog
Aika. Walking is the biggest thing for them. Rabbit and Guinea pig for petting. Riding under supervision. Place without end and play for small and older children. The play barn is great. Table tennis, billiards, basketball, table football, books, painting, ball bath etc everything available. The hosts are friendly and always there for guests.
On weekends, when the cafe is open, it is imperative to try the cake as well as the ice cream.
The oak farm has a great location. Hellwege is a beautiful well maintained place.
For shopping you go to Sottrum. There everything is available on a central area for daily needs.
It was nice again!

Great kids farm with super nice hosts in a dreamlike environment

We stayed a week short term there on vacation.. Handling and prior contact, super friendly, smooth and super fast.
We had an apartment under the roof , a great apartment with everything that makes the stay pleasant. Surroundings top, everything to reach promptly.
The farm itself super, quiet and yet you have fun with the children.
Many opportunities to work on site.
1 star deduction unfortunately for the attic in midsummer, on arrival the heat stricken us, according to the check out list, the windows should be closed on departure , in the meantime was probably not ventilated. No ventilation possible by the sun during the day, nor by TV or some light in the evening, as the mosquito attack is pre-programmed. Vllt needs a long-term solution here....
Although we are completely stabbed, but still happy, it was a great time and we will definitely come back.
