This inviting guest house is situated in the attractive Moselle wine town of Kenn, just a short distance from Trier, Germany’s oldest city.

Great selection of chips
The schnitzels were all freshly breaded and were very delicious. The fries were thin and crispy. My daughter had half a chicken. Here the portion was very large and the skin was nice and crispy. Very good value for money.

Great food and adequate lodging
This is a good place to use as a stopover spot. The room was basic and adequate. Nothing special but very clean. Quiet neighborhood and free parking. Restaurant downstairs serves the best schnitzel we have ever had. Enormous portions. Breakfast was basic with fresh rolls and jam along with yogurt and some meats. Perfect for what it is.

free parking, hotel in the quiet area
My room was big, and the shared bathroom I had no complaints on. In the hotel you can have fun in the bar and pub. The area is quiet and can have a good rest.
On the down side, the room didn't had air-conditioning, but still wasn't too hot, afterall for 40 euros having a room with breakfast was more than you can ask for.

Basic, but good value for good price
When looking at the photo above I wasn't really sure about going. Some of the comments weren’t very tempting either.
Some of the other comments, especially those concerning the quality of the beds and the food, made me want to try.
It was a good decision. For a mere € 69 we had a quiet and good size room with a comfy bed and nice bathroom with shower, breakfast and parking included.
In the tiny restaurant downstairs, which doesn’t look very attractive at first site, the food is very nice. Schnitzels is obviously their speciality, as is the size of them.
If you don’t insist on a 3 to 5 star hotel, you really must stay in this one just for one night only.
Another plus: it is very near to the motorway, but without any of the noice. ;)

Nice hotel for budget travellers
Nice hotel for budget travellers.
Near the German river, so ideal for bikers/cyclers, ...
The restaurant is having a lot of different sort of snitzels.
