Bayside is situated in Scharbeutz, directly on the beach and the Baltic Sea coast. The hotel offers a 1500 m² spa and wellness centre, an indoor pool and free WiFi access is available.

Location
The hotel is outstanding. Situated on the beautiful beach in Scharbeutz, it has clean and spacious suites, great bars and restaurants, great pool area, spa, gym - everything you can want or need in a hotel. The suite has two balconies with sea view. The rooms are clean and elegant. The beds are nice and firm. The bathroom is spacious and although I missed more toiletries, the in-house soap/shampoo smells heavenly. The breakfast was good, but crowded. The breakfast is served in the roof restaurant. I missed more fresh vegetables. There are many parking lots and it costs 16 € per day.
There is no AC in this hotel, which is a big drawback. The internet is also weak and the water in the shower constantly shifts between hot and cold. This is also the first time I have ever experiencee that hotel staff does not speak English. Housekeeping was good, but every day they forgot something; either it was toilet paper, soap, tissues or hand towels. One day I sat the soap up front to refill, but they did not get the hint and did not refill any soap. The checking of the mini bar was a new experience; the man who checks, just walks into the room. When the guests are in the room, you cannot just walk in. You have to ask to enter or come back when we are out. To sum up; the hotel is worth a visit, but has a bit further to go on service.

If you want terrible Balkan music
To 2 p.m., no access to the roof top terrace, and no air con. In the room, as well as completely arrogant and without any form of situation sense or customer service from the management and staff after a rather unsustainable experience at the hotel, so skql you book Bayside and you can be absolutely sure that you are going to pay overpriced. Can at the strongest not recommend at all!

Disappointing stay despite beautiful location.
We were very much looking forward to our stay, but unfortunately, we were disappointed.
The location as well as the pool and sauna area are very nice. Unfortunately, this was overshadowed by the enormous heat in the hotel. The rooms do not have air conditioning, and the supposedly existing ventilation was not noticeable. The air was stagnant, making restful nights hardly thinkable.
It was also extremely hot and stuffy in the restaurant. Since the terrace could not be used due to a private event, only the uncomfortably warm indoor area remained.
The staff at the reception seemed overwhelmed and not very friendly upon arrival. Overall, we did not really feel welcome or comfortable.
It's a pity, we will not be returning here a second time.

Quiet hotel stay? Unfortunately, not at all.
Absolutely disappointing stay. Directly under our room (206), a wedding celebration took place, where the music was so loud until 3:30 AM that sleeping was out of the question. At check-out, we were even informed that the celebration had been extended by the hotel.
Even more frustrating is the handling of the situation: Despite a written complaint, the hotel has not responded to this day. Neither an apology nor a statement was deemed necessary.
Anyone looking for a quiet hotel and values professional handling of complaints should think carefully about whether this establishment is the right choice. For us, the price-performance ratio was unacceptable given the sleepless night and the lack of customer service.
