A house to feel good.....Cozy room , quiet location, ideal for excursions, delicious food in the restaurant, breakfast buffet for unbeatable price, great service from administration to room to restaurant...also the beer garden invites....Thanks....

An old hotel that has long since lost its charm. Dirty walls, scratched furniture. All in one not a nice stay. Breakfast simple ,nothing special ...

Hotel with an old mill listed on a horistoric register as a Restaurant with charm

The mill is now used as a restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner (with affordable prices). Quality first. The hotel is beside the mill and is furnished in an antique style. Carpets are new and adapted to old style. Bathrooms are refurbished and have modern standard. Very clean interior. Water is available for free at the entrance, so you can help yourself. Automatic shoe polisher is also available.
A very friendly family is running the hotel and restaurant. Also friendly receptionist, who can always give you the information which is requested. No 24-Hour-service at reception. Parking is for free.

Charming rural hotel near the resort of Busum

Surprising fly charming hotel built next to an old windmill near the resort of Busum.
Reception was old school and charming - though not sure Bout his English as my German passed the test!
Rooms are of an older time, but clean, airy and with plenty of light.
Breakfast, in the base of the old windmill, was a touch basic hence 4 stars but overall a good memory to take away.
As for Busum, a lovely town with a nice parade of quality shops. In 2013 the beach is being rebuilt so it was closed of - although we knew that before we came. The harbour is charming and, from 2014, I suspect a great holiday location.
We went into Sankt Peter Ording in the evenings and had fantastic food for very reasonable prices.
