Nice staff and room. A few more kitchen tools would have been good, but in all we had a pleasant stay.

Checked in late evening. No issues, room clean and tidy. Large balcony, air con. Nothing to complain about

The room was decently clean. Our particular sink was a bit slow to drain, but otherwise okay. The front desk staff were always very friendly and helpful. The air conditioning was amazing and needed during July. The area is a bit older, but felt relatively safe with lots of stores, bakeries, restaurants and cafes around to explore. We did not explore much after dark, so we cannot give an opinion on night life. Only a 30-40 minute walk from the city centre, which is a plus.

This hotel was extremely disappointing from start to finish. We were originally assigned a non-smoking room, but it smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. The bathroom had visible mold, the walls were damaged with multiple dings and broken areas, and water leaked out of the shower onto the bathroom floor.
Beyond the condition of the room, the hotel is located in a very poor neighborhood, which was not accurately represented and felt misleading. Aside from the front desk staff, there was no one available to assist with guest concerns or accommodations. Overall, the property was poorly maintained, the location was disappointing, and the experience did not live up to expectations. I would not recommend staying here.
