Located right on the sandy beach of Mylopotas in Ios Island, Gorgona is housed in a Cycladic-style building with stone-paved terraces and white-washed walls.

Excellent stay with an amazing view!
We had a wonderful stay at Gorgona. The owner is an incredibly kind and welcoming man who always greeted us with a smile and made us feel truly at home. The housekeeping staff were also very friendly, cheerful and hardworking.
The location is perfect, with breathtaking views of the sea and Mylopotas Beach. The terrace is absolutely lovely! A perfect place to relax and enjoy the scenery.
The room and bathroom were very clean, and everything was well maintained. The atmosphere was cozy, peaceful and welcoming throughout our stay.
We would happily stay here again and highly recommend Gorgona to anyone visiting Ios!

Wonderful place to stay
An absolutely beautiful place with a stunning view. There’s something special about leaving the balcony door open and listening to the waves gently lapping against the beach as you fall asleep.
The staff aren’t very fluent in English, but with a few hand gestures and a bit of trial and error, you can easily communicate what you need. The room is clean and pleasant, and it has everything you need for a comfortable stay.
Overall, a wonderful place to stay. ️

Heaven!!!!
What to write I don't know! Magical location, wonderful rooms with daily cleaning in the rooms, clean towels etc sheets, wonderful breakfast in a very friendly environment, you think you are at home! Above all, however, Mr. Dimitris is an impeccable and tireless host!!! Ios is just magic! If you come definitely choose the Gorgona!

Without infamy but above all without praise
Great location hotel on Mylopotas beach...but Ios has so many wonderful beaches, even more than this, that stopping there would be a crime! The typically Cycladic structure is very simple and basic, clean rooms but a bit “bare”. Bed a little small. At night there is a great noise coming from the street, not to mention the mosquitoes from which we were literally assaulted, yet in the previous days at another hotel in Ios we had not seen half of them. Very poor breakfast, leaves something to be desired both in quality and variety. Staff a bit absent and distracted and does not speak English. Value for money a bit 'exaggerated for the structure that is.
