Fantastic food as Greek as it gets
If you’re looking for a traditional Greek restaurant this certainly fits the bill. Excellent value and fantastic food. The Staff are very friendly and helpful. The one thing to be aware of is it is CASH an only. Would really recommend. We were staying at hotel Ammon Zeus 300yds up the beach this place was perfect.

Good afternoon
The food was really great. Traditional Greek food do it with heart. The terase was realy nice and clean with traditional Greek design . We try the soup and this was amazing, octopus grill and octopus with honey also very good. We have Feta with honey and also the other starter was good.

Great beach side dining!
We didn’t stay at the hotel but we dined in the taverna after our day on the beach and we had a wonderful meal. My children had the pastitsio … it wasn’t as good as mine but my kids enjoyed it, so who am I to argue!!!
The bread is to die for, as is the taramasalata, proper home made stuff (and I’m from a Greek Cypriot background - so I know good stuff when I taste it!)
I had the grilled shrimp which were delicious and my husband had the swordfish (he wasn’t as blown away as me with the shrimps … but he did enjoy it)
The mythos beer was served with frozen beer glass … the proper way, so this was a nice touch and the service was friendly and welcoming.
Recommend it for a beach side lunch/dinner!

Great fresh food in a great setting
We didn't stay at the hotel but ate lunch at the Taverna every day we were there as we were using their sunbeds - 9 Euro for a set. The taverna is delightful and authentic!
Great views of the beach, no blaring music, great service. Clean toilets.
The food is standard taverna food but fresh and well done - we had lots of fish dishes, sardines, anchovies, squid, cod, and souvlaki, cheese croquettes as well as great greek salads and fried veggies - all delicious. Their chips are great too. Free appetiser with your bread and complimentary deserts were delicious. The menus are hand-written and they have a range of different languages. It is excellent value. Staff were all lovely including the elegant lady who seemed to run the place.
On the basis of our experience in the taverna I'd also stay here as the standards were high

Lovely location and views, food nice.
A lovely location, and an excellent menu with good prices. I would have given it 3 stars, as I thought the food was fairly average but my husband and son wanted to give it a 4, as they enjoyed their lamb chops and pastitsio. The starters were very good as well and plentiful. The service was good, but not quite as friendly as some of the other restaurants in the area.
