Vaselin studios
We were here for the first time in 2024 and enjoyed it even then. Since last time there has been a small pool with luxurious sun beds.
It is also possible to get breakfast and light lunch in a small bar.
Quiet and cozy hotel with nice views.
It's a pretty long walk uphill when you come from town, but if you manage it, it's worth the walk.

Nice and quiet
The hotel was very clean and comfortable. Unfortunately it was a bit too far away from the sea to not have a pool at the hotel. A tip to the owners is to get some kind of sunscreen on the balconies gets unbearably hot to sit there in the afternoons but for those of you who want peace and quiet and don’t have any need for a pool, it’s good. Breakfast was no big deal though, small selection so recommend to take their own breakfast in the room ✌️

Bad service
The staff was not very friendly and welcoming! First day of our arrival, they just gave us the key to our room with no explanation. Without knowing anything, we accidently locked ourself out with the key on the other side of the door. The staff were rude after we explained the situation. It felt very awkward meeting them everyday. We woke up almost everyday hearing the staff shouting and yelling at each other.
Other than that, the rooms were clean everyday and fresh towels. Nice view from the balcony.

Room with a view - Sunny place close to the center
Wonderful, clean, well equipped rooms. Lovely sunsets on the balconies.
Cleaning every day. Towel every second day.
Looks really fresh and newly decorated.
Kind hotel manager. Changed broken coffee maker instantly.
Kitchen well equipped for making your own food or having a beer, Ouzo or wine.
Really worth a stay.
The only drawback, is the hill going up.
If you have a medical condition, this might be a problem, but Taxi from the center is 3-4 Euro.
I have a pacemaker, had no problems at all!

Clean, new studios with nice view
If you don't mind walking up and down the hill to the town or the beach 10-15min depending on the outside temperature, this is a good place to stay.
Our studio was very clean, had everything we needed (standard furniture and appliances, cutlery, plates, pots etc.) and a nice, big balcony overlooking the bay.
The balcony offered shade from morning to until around 3pm in August which was a relief this hot summer.
The doors and windows are of good quality and keep out any noise.
The neighbourhood is quiet. Parking spots out front.
The manager was friendly but didn't talk much. The staff cleaned the room almost daily and switched out the towels and bed sheets once during our one week stay.
Most shops and taverns are in the town center but the Express Supermarket and Tzimas Taverna (excellent authentic food!) are just a 5min walk down the road.
I highly recommend it if you like a simple and clean studio with a lovely balcony.
