Fantastic Meroi
We have had a wonderful 5 days, the room is clean the people who have it very hospitable.... as the location is very close to the country with the supermarket right across! Sea down all penna!!! Bravo and thank you Studio Meroi for making our holiday even more beautiful.

Amazing place to stay
We have had one of our best holidays here in Greece, the studios are extremely clean and comfortable and Eleni and the handsome Dimitri couldn't do enough for us. Eleni organised a hire bike for us and Demitri kindly picked us up from the town very late at night. Lovely tea, coffee and honey to get us started and thoughtful toiletries left in the bathroom. Excellent wifi too.

Friendly and cheerful but not comfortable
Meroi Studios is a typical Greek rent room facility. Cheerful and friendly accommodation, mostly due to the owners. Helen (Eleni) and Jim (Dimitris) are so kind.
Although the facilities are located in a beautiful place, with a palm trees row, the comfort is not their point. Tiny shower and totally uncomfortable bed. It's a pity cause it could be a great asset for a 55€ per night (August 2014).
Despite all these, Meroi Studios offer a great wi-fi connection, something not so common for a Greek island accommodation facility.

Κύριε Καραγιάννη σας ευχαριστούμε πολύ για την κριτική σας! Δυστυχώς οι ντουζιέρες του ορόφου είναι όντως μικρές αλλά δεν είναι δυνατή η αντικατάστασή τους άμεσα .... Στην επόμενη ανακαίνιση θα αποτελέσουν προτεραιότητα! Η άνεση του κρεβατιού μάλλον είναι υποκειμενική ... Μου άρεσε πολυ η φωτογραφία με τα καφεδάκια στο τραπέζι! Να περνάτε καλά!

welcoming & comfortable self-catering studios on Skyros
Meroi Studios are easily identified by the row of sturdy palm trees fronting the rooms, which are built on two floors. We were on the ground floor, with a rural view of lemon trees on one side, and at the front, past the porch and the palms, a paddock with one of the famous Skyrian mini-horses in it, prepared to be friendly. The owners, a cheerful and kindly young couple, are friendly too--they gave a personal touch with classic thoughtful Greek hospitality, especially when all the electricity on this half of the island went out briefly.... with the aid of their gas stove they rushed in with boiling water for morning coffee, a survival necessity for this traveller!
The studio apartment was cosily decorated and was also supplied with, in the fridge, a welcoming bottle of wine and a full fruitbowl and bottled water on our arrival--a really nice touch. The beds were comfy, the room well-heated (it was March) and the kitchen equipped with all the basics to prepare simple food. The room is not huge, but there was ample cubboard and closet space; we found it excellent value for money--and all was spotlessly clean. The location is handy for the beach, but since the island's touristy remoter attractions (the awesome Palamari excavation site of a Bronze Age settlement at one end; Rupert Brooke's tomb at the other; the port of Linaria with its fish restaurants in the middle) are NOT within walking distance, renting a tiny car is recommended (little traffic; few roads; you won't get out of third gear). A family place, with a welcoming feeling, on this quaint island with a flavour all its own.

Η Ελληνική φιλοξενία στο μεγαλείο της!!!
Άριστη παροχή υπηρεσιών, τέλεια τοποθεσία με καταπράσινο και ήσυχο κήπο, κοντά στη χώρα και 5-10 λεπτά με τα πόδια από την παραλία, άψογη καθημερινη και σχολαστική καθαριότητα, ελληνική φιλοξενία, πολύ φιλικ οί ιδιοκτήτες, χαμηλές τιμες. Μείναμε 10 βραδια. Συγκεντρώνει όλες τις προϋποθέσεις για να ξαναπάμε! Να το προτιμήσετε!
