Excellent Hotel - No Hot Food

Excellent Hotel - No hot food
The CX is primarily a hostel hotel for student accommodation.
However, it does have a hotel section on the 9th floor.
I was impressed by the friendliness and flexibility of the staff as we entered.
The voucher for the free drink was a very nice touch.
My family loved the spacious family room.
I was certainly on my way to giving one my very rare 5* ratings.
However, i stayed in places for almost £100 less, with my children eating all meals free including a hot buffet breakfast and a free glass of wine with the included dinner.
I gave that hotel 5*. I couldn't give CX 5* too.
Excellent hotel and highly recommended. But no hot food and therefore a bit pricey.

Clean and big room
Nevena has some of the best customer service, I've ever received. She is helpful, knowledgeable, and great at her role!!

Everything was good, staff was wonderful. They provided complimentary non-alcoholic drinks and 2 large complimentary drinking water bottles plus 2 pieces of dark chocolate. This is our second time as guests here. Last time, a few days ago, the weather was windy and cold; therefore, the air-conditioning/heating system was turned off by the hotel personnel. Yesterday, after checking-in, we noticed the air-conditioning is turned off and our room was overwhelming very warm, the A/C system was turned off. We informed the desk personnel about it. However, we were informed thst it cannot be turned on because it was cold a few days ago; so the whole system of the air-conditioning is turned off. Thus, we had to open the windows for a few hours during the late night hours, so some fresh air can come in to bring down the temperature of the room. Unfortunately, we were not able to sleep comfortably because of this room temperature issue. I don't blame the staff because they are following instructions from their big boss. I wish the staff and the maids the best, they have been very wonderful. However, it is unfair for any guests to not able to sleep comfortably because they can not have the A/C on. Hotel rooms are supposed to provide a good night rest, especially having comfortable room temperature. However, that did not happen this time around for my husband and me.

We enjoyed staying at this lovely hotel. It was vwry comfortable and breakfast was nice although eggs were not provided. Staff was wonderful. The maid didn't change the towels, throw out the trash or fix our bed--and I think this happened because we left the room close to 1 pm for our excursion; but I did notify the staff about it. However, we received fresh towels at night when we returned from our excursion. It was very windy at night, so we could hear the strong winds pounding our windows of our room during our sleep time. Thus, the windows of the hotel are not sound proof. Overall, we enjoyed our stay! :)

Very good
I stayed at this hotel 3 nights over Easter. I was pleasantly surprised by the structure! Cleanliness impeccable, large room, comfortable bed! The spotless bathroom, large equipped with all amenities. They provided us with guest slippers, toothpaste kit, kit with herbal teas and chocolates.... In addition to bricks of water in the fridge at our disposal and a drink each of our choice. The only small flaw is the beautiful but uncomfortable walk-in shower, mostly for the lake that is created by showering. The only thing to improve so much in my opinion is the breakfast... a little poor compared to the room and the services offered by the same. I will definitely stay there again. I give 5 stars although breakfast is to be improved
