Great apartment for a diving holiday
We stayed in Sands apartments for our diving holiday in Malta. It met our needs and was very good for diving. It was comfortable, fairly basic, but very good because of the washroom (for our diving equipment) and because it was located so close to the dive centre. Also the beds were nice, and the air conditioning worked well, and you have €5 included, but buying more is an option.
The view was not the best, as it was just of some buildings, but if we had a better view, we wouldn’t have been as close to the diving shop. We didn’t have a working frying pan, and the stove was very small, making it hard to cook, but we didn’t need too much because of the amazing restaurants nearby. Sands apartments are not not the fanciest place, but perfect for a diving holiday.

Family vibes
What a find!! Spacious 3 bed/3 bathroom penthouse! Plenty of room for 4 adults & 2 teenage children. Large kitchen /dining /living areas. Well equipped & clean. Helpful staff responded quickly to any queries.
Supermarkets & local stores all within walking distance.
Close to sea and plenty of bars & restaurants to choose from. Local transport & bolt taxis cheap & reliable.
Would have liked bedside lamp, but certainly not a negative!

Good value for money
We booked through Regal Dive our diving holiday and stayed there to be very close to the dive centre.
The apartment was basic but it was clean and the facilities were good.
The balcony doors were blocking the noise from the busy and that didn’t affect our sleep.
Only downside was that we didn’t have air conditioning. Even though we stayed there in the middle of summer we managed because there was a fan but it wasn’t great - keeping in mind that we had to keep the doors shut to block the noise from the road.
