The Riad Tzarra is a charming little traditional residence that has preserved its historic Moroccan Berber design. This haven of peace has only five suites, each one different from the other and carefully decorated with a spice theme.

Magic Marrakech
Riad recently renovated, new management. We were greeted directly at the airport with pick-up service, so welcoming. Houssein and all the staff were very helpful and considerate. We enjoyed the excellent and hearty breakfasts, as well as the characteristic Moroccan dinners. The charm and attention to detail of the new renovation are reflected in the rooms and furnishings with taste. We highly recommend this Riad, quality and price ratio.

Beautiful riad but loses marks for location
Beautiful riad with lovely staff, in particular, Anwar. Lovely roof terrace and fabulous food. The whole riad is relaxing and scrupulously clean. However, we found the location intimidating, especially walking back in the evening. It’s just a little too far beyond the central areas.

Cozy, comfortable, relaxing: an oasis in the heart of Marrakech
I felt at home in this Riad: super cozy, quiet, attention to detail. The location, in the heart of the Medina, is great for getting to the souks and major attractions. The room was bright, spacious and very comfortable. I really enjoyed the outdoor spaces, the courtyard with the pool and the rooftop, perfect for relaxing after spending the day visiting the city. The staff was always friendly and very helpful! The food, both for breakfast and dinner, was great, carefully presented, local, authentic. I highly recommend it, it is a perfect place to fully experience the magical atmosphere of Marrakech!!

Excellent Moroccan experience
A very intimate riad with a refined Moroccan atmosphere. The room is very spacious and every detail has been taken care of.
Excellent location, on a very quiet but well-lit street, just a short walk from the Ben Youssef Madrasa and the souks.
The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast and dinner are delicious and beautifully presented.
The airport pick-up service is much appreciated. Their contact person drives you to the nearby square, from where you are accompanied by trolley to the entrance of the riad.

Not your money’s worth at all.
This place is located in the most inner streets and takes forever to come to the main streets…the streets are dark and unsafe for tourists. They were extremely stingy with the breakfast buffet and you basically have to ask for everything… they aren’t very accommodating and doesn’t budge when it comes to money… also they’re way overpriced for the services they offer and it doesn’t worth the money they charge.we met the new owners couple of times who aren’t very friendly or welcoming at all… specially the wife who was always appeared to be snobbish and rude… I definitely would not recommend this place for a stay due to unsafe location, not enough food quantity and bare minimum service. Not your money’s worth definitely.

Thank you for taking the time to write this review. We were amazed and surprised to read your impressions of our riad and our staff.
When we met on Saturday evening, you told us how beautiful and well-kept our place was and how professional and helpful our staff were.
You and your family booked two double rooms for a total of 4 people.
On the day of arrival, you showed up in five adults and claimed to sleep three people in a double room! We made our best and tried to find a solution to accommodate the fifth person (unexpected and non-paying) as well and so we proposed an upgrade to our largest suite with three beds. Wo obvisously asked for a small supplement for the fifth person for whom no reservation had been made.
After trying to get a better price and some complaints you agreed.
As for our breakfast, which is greatly appreciated by all our guests, we obviously offer a typical Moroccan breakfast with a wide variety of options that does not include meat of any kind (specifically sausages, as you requested).
With regard to the safety of the neighborhood, we are sorry that you did not feel safe.
We can assure you that the safety of our guests is our top priority. We assure you that our staff is available 24 hours a day to assist you with directions and reliable transportation, ensuring your peace of mind.
As described, our riad is located in the oldest district of the Medina, and it is unfortunate that this charm was a source of discomfort for you.
