Lovely Little Spot
My friend and I spent 2 nights at this sweet little spot in Cusco. It's about a 5/10 minute walk to the Plaza and the San Pedro Market. It is quiet and comfortable. The staff are the sweetest, nicest and most accomodating. They will also store your bags if you are doing the Inca Trail.
It's secure as they lock the front door after you have gone, and you must ring the bell to come back in.
The lady at reception bought us up a flask of hot water and tea, when I just asked for a cup of hot water. Also breakfast is included which is always nice.

Do not recommend
Do not recommend to Brazilian friends...
We left in a room that a cork, no socket to charge cell phones, shower with cold water and no pressure...
The room provided was different from what we had booked.

Customer service poor
Terrible customer service. No information provided then charged extra fees. Inflated cost after making booking on booking.com.
Sad way to end my trip in Cusco. Felt like they only wanted my money and to not have a customer relationship. Don’t use.

Just ok
The staff was very helpful, breakfast was good and the price was cheap but otherwise I didn't have a very good stay. When I got there the shower didn't work. There was no water coming out. It was so late that I didn't have the energy to complain about it and in the morning it worked fine. But I was very disappointed that after a long day hiking I couldn't take a shower. Moreover, the room was very cold at night. I had to sleep with my hoodie on.

Pleasant small hotel with lots of extras
We had a good stay with Milka and her family at the Tambo Cusco Inn. Rates were very reasonable for a four bed room and we had Wi-fi in the bedroom and hot water for showers. Due to a mix up with the booking website the four bed room was initially full but they offered us two double rooms at no extra cost. We stayed here again after finishing the Inca trail and arrived with three huge bags of washing that Milka took off and had washed and dried within a day again at a low cost to us - it was like magic. I found Milka and her husband super polite and helpful and would recommend this hotel.
