Warm and welcoming experience

I am grateful to this lovely couple for making me feel safe and comfortable in my travels to Peru on my way to and from Cusco. The husband picked me up and dropped me off at the airport with no problem. Both nights he made a stop for me to pick up some "safe for tourists" take-out at a nearby restaurant, and Miriam kept me company and had lovely conversation while I ate. She also made me beautiful breakfast tailored to my food intolerances- even baked me a gluten-free bread. The home is clean and inviting and I slept very well both nights. I highly recommend them!

The Best People!

The absolute best, cleanest, most convenient and friendly place in Lima. Just 15 minutes from the airport. I highly recommend this place! Kiki and Miriam are such amazing people. I feel safe and they are both so helpful.

We really enjoyed our stay. We leaned a lot about Lima and Peru in general. Our breakfast was lovely and included fresh, local fruits. The hosts were friendly and helpful. This is a great place to stay if you want to experience local Peruvian hospitality.

What a find!

What a fantastic way to start off our visit to Lima. Our plane landed after midnight and by the time we cleared customs and got our luggage it was nearly 3:AM - we were so happy to see our name on a sign and Ki ke's smiling face as we walked out of the terminal. After about a 15 minute ride from the Airport Ki ke showed us to our room w/ 2 beds and private bath, settled on a time for breakfast and said goodbye. The next morning Miriam cooked us a made-to order breakfast with some of the best coffee we'd had in years (probably made better because we were so tired). They both fielded all of our questions and tolerated my broken highschool Spanish and proudly showed us around their house and private gardens. We asked them to arrange a taxi for us to our hotel and Miraflores and Ki Ke said he would take us - they both seemed genuinely happy meeting new people. All in (room for 2, free internet, breakfast, a 20 mile ride and a 30% tip) can to about $105. Wish I could find such nice people in every city we travel too - highly highly recommended.

Relaxing in a local neighborhood

This is such a great deal! The price includes pick up and drop off at the airport. The bed and breakfast is located within 15 minutes of the airport and is so convenient when you are just going to be in Lima overnight. And so wonderful to be welcomed at the airport! The apartment includes a living room, kitchen (which is probably shared when there are other guests) and also bedroom and private bathroom. The apartment is located in a residential neighborhood and across from the apartment is a park. We enjoyed hanging out watching the soccer game along with others gathering on the benches or walking their dogs. It was a nice evening. The apartment is also within walking distance of the main road where there are several restaurants including one with rotisserie chicken which was delicious. Oh, don't forget the breakfast: eggs, toast, yoghurt and a generous serving of fruit.
