Located in Punta Negra, Surfari Punta Rocas is in a rural area and by the ocean. Playa Norte and Playa Penascal reflect the area's natural beauty and area attractions include Laberinto Huáscar and Centro Cultural Crea Huáscar. Fishing offers a great chance to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with hiking/biking trails nearby. While you're here, you can enjoy all the comforts of home and more, including a pool and free WiFi, as well as a Smart TV and streaming services. Other amenities include towels, a picnic area, tour/ticket assistance, and multilingual staff. This property is closed from February 22 2026 to January 31 2027 (dates subject to change).

SPECTACULAR

After staying for a few days in Surfari I can only say that it is a small paradise in Punta Rocas.
The rooms are super clean, the bed more comfortable than the one in my own house.
The incredible staff, thank you guys for welcoming me like that! Vane, Nadia, you are incredible, always attentive to everything and with a smile on your face!
The manager Ernesto is simply outstanding. Thank you very much for everything friend.
The food is exquisite, Sara and Rafa are machines.
Thank you again for making me feel at home, being so far from home.
The best hostel in the area, with the best surfing spot less than four minutes walk from the door.
We will see each other again 100%.

Highly recommended!

Had a wonderful stay in Surfari! I booked for 7 days during the low season and nearly every night I was the only one in the whole hostel (so maybe ask them in advance if there are people if you don’t want to be on your own). But I loved it, for me it was the perfect time to relax and enjoy surfing in Peru. I booked a package with surfing lessons every day, equipment, breakfast, lunch and dinner included. All the staff members were super friendly and made me feel comfortable. The food was good and Nadja and Ernesto took me out for lunch and to see an other beach near Punta Rocas. Big thanks to all of them, especially to Nadja, who took very good care of me :) highly recommended!

Great staff!

We had a really good stay. We came in the low season and last the couple of days we were only the two of us so Nadia took us out the last day and we had great time with her. They tried accommodate all our wishes.
The were really open minded and nice.
Shout out to Nadia and Rafa!

Awesome Stay and Amazing Surf Lessons

Highly recommend to anyone looking to get out of Lima and explore the beach towns.
Ernesco and Vanessa are incredible hosts. The entire staff is super nice and really go out of their way to provide everyone a great experience. Food is also very good.
In addition, amazing place to learn how to surf. Martin and Miko are incredible instructors. They are experts that know the spots and provide great lessons for all levels. Definitely check it out!

Absolutely amazing!

Everything since start to finish was perfect, this is a hidden gem! Especial thanks to all the staff who went above and beyond so we had a blast! The food, the activities, the surfing lessons and the music they play. If in the area, will repeat without a doubt.
