Located in Oslob, a few steps from Tan-awan Beach, Aloha provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. This 2-star resort has air-conditioned rooms with a private bathroom.

Location, location, location for Whale Sharks
We LOVED our stay at Aloha. Location, location, location for whale sharks, it's right next door to where all the action is. We saw the whale sharks early then sat by the beach, eating breakfast, watching the other tour groups go out. The room is basic but perfect, all you need for an overnight stay. Comfy beds, warm shower, a lovely balcony and a beautiful view. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We arrived early and they minded our bags. Left very late the next day and they minded our bags again and helped us organise transport back to Cebu. If you have the time, don't day-trip Oslob, stay overnight and enjoy breakfast by the beach.

Can be used, but sleeping is difficult
There are basically no good hotels in this place, so there's not much choice. Only come here to swim with sharks, and the rare guests stay for a couple of days. Of all the choices, this place is not bad, except for a few points.
Pros:
1. Place five minutes from shark diving and restaurants
2. Large green area
3. Very friendly manager and staff
4. Nice breakfast la carte.
5. Clear on site and in rooms
6. Terrace and barbecue area is a find
7. Not expensive, by district standards, transfer from Cebu (anywhere) to the hotel. 4,500 pesos.
Cons:
1. Terrible beach. It's there, but it's dirty with no entrance and no resting place.
2. Extremely uncomfortable in the rooms because of the air conditioning. It works, but like a tractor. It's impossible to sleep with him, only every time he turns it on and off, but it's not a dream.
3. Very noisy from the track!!! And singing cats
4. Hard cushions
5. No entertainment: balls, deck chairs, badminton, fishing...
Conclusion. Stopping for nothing more than a ha night.

Ignore the haters - an excellent option for whale sharks
Lovely hosts who do their best. They fixed the cable tv, put our drinks in their fridge, loaned us an extension cord, took us for a tour of the town, organized a trip to the Falls and of course made sure we had a VIP whale shark experience.
Go for the deluxe rooms if you can. I got one that we used to hand out in and my son got an economy room where he just slept.
Only annoying thing was loud neighbors getting up at four in the morning. Happy Philippine family but loud af.

Not a bad option for sleeping in front of sharks.
For your money - a good option: single $25, double $43. For this money you get a clean room, a location 2 minutes walk from the sharks, and a checkout at 12:30 (you can still rest after a morning tour to the sharks). Worth your money!
Very little pressure in the shower when you turn on the water heating - it's hot, washing is uncomfortable when you turn it off - it gets cold. So the showering process is not very convenient.
The air conditioning blows directly onto the bed, sleeping under it is uncomfortable.

Whale Sharks next door
Excellent location right next to the whale shark watching your. Staff was very friendly. Rooms were basic but good enough for a short stay. Very good value for the money and easy to take a bus back to cebu when you need to leave. The snorkeling equipment was great
