Concorde Hotel Doha is located between the Banks street and Old Airport, a 23 minute drive away from the new Hamad International Airport. Souq Waqif is only a 5 minute drive away. Free WiFi is available throughout the entire property.

5/5 – Excellent value for a 5-star hotel
We stayed at the Concorde Hotel Doha for two nights in August 2026 as a family of four, staying in two interconnecting rooms. Overall, we were very impressed and would happily stay here again.
The biggest factor in our rating is value for money. The Concorde was one of the least expensive 5-star hotels we found in Doha, and at the price we paid, we felt we received an awful lot for our money. It is important to judge the hotel in that context. If we had paid a much higher premium 5-star price, we would probably have been more critical of some aspects of the hotel.
The location was convenient for the airport, around a 15-minute taxi ride, which cost us approximately £10. We also found the Karwa app very useful for booking taxis.
Our rooms were very spacious, clean and comfortable, with lovely wood flooring. The bathrooms were also huge and had a beautiful shower, bath and bidet. They are starting to look a little tired in places, but were still very nice and, most importantly, spotlessly clean.
The beds were massive and firm, which suited us perfectly. The pillows were excellent and we all had a very good night's sleep.
One of the things we particularly noticed was how naturally cool the hotel was. Outside it was around 40°C, but inside the room it remained surprisingly cool even without the air conditioning running. We used the air conditioning occasionally, but it really wasn't necessary most of the time. You certainly appreciate the difference as soon as you open the doors and the 40°C heat comes in!
The staff were excellent throughout. Everyone was polite, efficient and welcoming, and we were made to feel comfortable from the moment we arrived.
The pool is quite small but was very clean. We didn't see anyone else using it during our stay, so it was very quiet. The one downside is that it normally closes at 6pm, which we think is far too early in a hot country, particularly in August when you would expect guests to want to use the pool later in the evening. However, we asked if it could stay open later and the staff very kindly kept it open until 7pm especially for us, which was a really nice gesture and another example of how accommodating they were.
Room service was also very good. We ordered breakfast and found it delicious, with breakfast costing around £8 per person, which we thought was excellent value.
The hotel is starting to feel a little dated in places, and a smart TV would definitely be a worthwhile upgrade. These are probably the main things that stop it feeling like a truly modern 5-star property. However, again, at the price we paid, these were minor issues rather than reasons to mark the hotel down.
Doha itself also felt unusually quiet during our visit, with relatively few tourists around, although the wider regional situation may have contributed to this. The hotel therefore felt calm and uncrowded during our stay.
Would we stay again? Absolutely. If you're looking for a modern, ultra-luxury 5-star hotel and are paying a premium price, there may be better options. But if you can get the Concorde at the sort of price we paid, it represents excellent value for a 5-star hotel. Spacious and very clean rooms, huge comfortable beds, friendly staff, good food and convenient airport access made this a very enjoyable stay.
For the price, we were very happy to give it 5/5.

Stay at the stopover
Since it was a flight arriving late at night, we used it at stopover. We were able to check in smoothly even in the late hours and received comfortable service. The rooms were large and well equipped, and I was very satisfied.
