One of the cheapest option in Doha
Booked at QAR 200 at online booking site.
What I liked:
- Location, in the middle of souqs, walkable distance to corniche, MIA and Souq Wakif. Many cheap restaurants and shops around.
- Staffs were nice.
- Room was large.
- Old hotel but repainted.
What I didn't like:
- Breakfast was so so.
- No water warmer or boiler for drink.
- Wi-Fi was slow.
- Spring bed was old and too soft.
What I liked:

If you have transit flight you can stay in this hotel.
If you have transit flight you can stay in this hotel for shot stay it is in the center of Doha city nice location have many small market around the hotel where you can by many things . Have near by many money exchange.

You get what you pay for
When you pay $40 for a hotel in Doha, you get what you pay for. Stayed here on an airport stopover. On the positive side, it was in a great location (walking distance to the souk) and the shawarma place next door was delicious. The hotel itself was pretty gross (dirty, with hairs all over the bed etc) but like I said you get what you pay for. Doha is an expensive city and this was only $40. It was fine for a night, but I wouldn't go back.

Terrible wifi and check-in at reception. Good value and location.
Wifi was awful. The room was basic but perfectly functional. Large, firm bed, hot shower with bath tub and curtain, toilet, fridge. Overall very clean. The room itself was pretty big and so was the bathroom.
Reception made me pay in cash though I had already pre-paid with Expedia, PLUS they wanted me to pay an even higher rate than I had already paid. They didn't speak much English and it was impossible to explain. I paid anyway and said I would sort it out later with Expedia. Then they recognized their error and asked me to come back down to reception to get my money. They didn't give me back all my money, whatever, but nearly all. While I was getting my money back, another guest started harassing me and his hands were all over me. Reception didn't say a word. Luckily a security guard intervened.
I asked reception how much the shuttle bus was to the airport, and first she said 25, then she switched to 50, and then the phone rang and she proceeded on a very lengthy personal call. It was not in Arabic. After I got tired of waiting, I went back to my room.
But I got a cheap rate. It's fine for a stay that's only a few hours.

Decent Budget hotel
Probably the cheapest hotel in doha.... strictly budget hotel, rooms are big and clean, staff is helpful.... location not so good, but just a mints walk from souq.... stayed here for two days, no major problems as such. Would recommend for solo travellers spending most of the time outside....
