Located at 1,050 metres above sea level in Fantanele, Hotel Bianca is 65 km away from Cluj-Napoca. All rooms and suites have cable TV, minibars and balconies. Guests can have their breakfast at the hotel, and enjoy a refreshing drink at the bar.

Hotel ok but to avoid the restaurant in all possible way
Pro :
The hotel is ok for the price with a nice view
Staff, even if they don't talk in english was friendly
Con :
The restaurant own by the hotel is miserable.
The breakfast is 4 euros to get chocolate with water instead of milk and a poor sausage alone in your plate.
Another thing, it's written that the breakfast is included in the price of the room (on the wall at the reception) and we had to pay extra...

Spending the night on the shores of Lake Fantanele
During or trip in May 2023 we stopped for the night at the lake Belis-Fantanele - Cluj County , and the place of choice was Hotel Bianca.
A hotel that is near the lake - on the top of a small hill, alongside the road DN 1R , in a bend. The position is ideal, overlooking the lake , that can be seen from the balcony of the rooms.
The hotel is separated from the restaurant - although those are part of the same "business" - so for breakfast, lunch and/or dinner you need to cross the road ... so it isn't far at all - a few steps and you are there.
Checking in/out was fast and simple - a fairly easy procedure and we could pay with card - hotel & restaurant the same.
Room - we've got a small suite actually , consisting of 2 rooms and a bathroom , clean, simple, nothing fancy , but more than enough to spend the night.
If you arrive with your car - the parking lot is in front of the hotel , free of charge.
The restaurant , we had dinner there , it had some very good options on the menu, decent price to quality ratio, nothing to complain, not a fine dinning restaurant - but a very decent place to eat.
Staff was friendly, both at the hotel and at the restaurant.
Overall a good night stay, with a decent prince to quality ratio, nothing fancy, nothing spectacular, but a decent place to spend a night- or even several.

Just ok
The hotel is with a woanderfull view for your balcony and with friendly staff that help you. The breakfast was ok. Good parking. For lunch and diner the menu must be change and the food must be improved. When you are a vegetarian your place isn’t here.

lovely location
We stayed here for one night as part of a small group on a road tour. We were there in September and it felt slightly out of season already, even though the weather was dry and the days still plenty warm enough. The room was a good size with a decent shower en-suite and a fridge to put our bottles of drink in. It had a lovely sunny aspect and a good balcony - just a shame there were no chairs out there and the armchairs in the room did not fit through the door!
We went to a nearby village for our evening meal as the restaurant directly opposite was not open. It did open for breakfast however, which we had outside overlooking a big lake. In addition to the usual offerings they had granola which was delicious and made for a nice change.

It could be better
It is a nice hotel, with nice staff, but still something is missing...some investments in the recreational field. Some old buildings are about to collapse due to the lack of interest.
The restaurant was just ok, with a very lovely view at the lake from the terrace, food was good.
The surrounding area needs some efforts from the local authorities to became a better place for turists
