A gem in a little village
Beautifully rebuilt little house! Quiet and clean! The breakfast was outstanding, the surroundings and long walks were inspiring!

A home outside home!
Beautiful home, everything just perfect. Rooms spacious, clean and with immaculate taste. The hosts incredibly friendly and helpful. Breakfast amazing. Everything was just right!

A dream place with wonderful hosts
I don't think I can put in a nutshell what this escapade has meant in "pedras vellas". As you talk to José on the phone to book the room you already know that things will be fine because he is one of those special people you sense that will make you feel at home but respecting your privacy and your spaces and so it was: a magnificent host who makes you want to adopt him to become your uncle, nephew, brother, son or whatever each one seems but family.
As you arrive, he is waiting to tell you how to get there and to accompany you to the car park. Here is a brief overview of the history of the house and shows you your room. The rooms are not numbered because our guests are also not numbers, but have precious names of stones. Ours was on the ground floor because I go with crutches and wheelchairs due to an accident and is very good size and is very cute but at the same time functional: large bathroom, comfortable shower, towels that dry well..
The icing on the house is, in my opinion, the patio with a pool that is spotless clean and rocking hammocks to lie down after the dip that are heaven on earth. The boutique hotel has only 4 rooms so the dedication of José and marta is total, indication of beaches, places to eat that were amazing, like getting to the sites, in short a wonder!
The location is perfect to get to know all the wonders of the estuaries baixas.
I leave for the end the richness of breakfast with Iberians, natural orange juice, well-peeled fruit, homemade jams made by Marta, also homemade pastries and with hours from 9 to 11, no early to breakfast because in fact with the beds and pillows they have it is impossible to wake up early.
As a souvenir you can order Fani that she is a beautiful Galician some albariños and some homemade pomaces.
I’ve made up my mind on this review and, still, I think I’ve got things to say.
Bottom line: the best place to be not at home, but better than at home and visit the Riad baixas, its people and its gastronomy.

Calm and well-being
We have spent two nights in this beautiful house, decorated and catered with good know-how by Marta and Jose. The terrace is as seen in the photos and the pool is a gift when you return from hiking in any of the estuaries, as it is close to everything. In 30 minutes by car you reach any place of interest. Also Jose and Marta recommend routes and restaurants.
Breakfasts are delicious and balanced, with fresh local produce.
A highly recommended place to which we will return in the least occasion.

Excellent and close treatment. Quality of facilities and breakfast
Excellent service, tranquility and quality in both facilities and breakfast.
The village is very quiet and rests in luxury. Owners advise you of places to eat, interesting places to see, etc.
The pool is ideal for relaxing after a day of sightseeing and/or beach
