Clean and modern
Great price for a triple room, moreover it was a corner room with a balcony with a great view over the roundabout below ...all was clean and new and modern looking, bathroom was ok too, with a powerful hot shower, easy and smooth check-in, great location too, nothing to be faulted

Horrible to avoid
Not up to safety standard. HS emergency blocks. several repeated power outages. Portable air conditioning 87 decibels with exhaust through the window. 135 euros for 1 night in a clean room but a hotel that does not meet fire safety standards. To flee !!!

Cheap and great
I booked a single room for 30 euros and was given a huge double room with private bathroom! Booked very last minute and there was no problems. Very comfortable bed, I had a good sleep. 15 minutes to the beach. Would stay again.
It's a little hard to find though as it's located in a block of flats on the first floor. Other than that, great.

no reliable booking
19/09/07 - I had booked with confirmation dt. 3/9/07 Pension Amara from 19th to 24th September with pre-payment of 60€/first night. Yesterday I got the message "lo siento pero el 22 esta ya completo" . I'd like to warn everybody not to rely on this enterprise, they throw you out as they please, without regard. When they get to know your credit card number they debit your account immediatley without notice. They do not answer to any of your messages/rreclamations. In times of film festival in San Sebastian you cannot find any other lodging under 100 € at short-term. I lost my flight, froze my credit card and postpone my trip to some time.

Hemos pasado un fin de semana
Hemos pasado un fin de semana y está bien. Básico pero tranquilo y agradable. El desayuno que incluye es un cupon para el bar de abajo y se desayuna bastante bien la verdad. Las camas son comodas y tiene buena relacion calidad precio
