The location was very good bc is in a street full of restaurants and cafes and also close the main road la gran via. The place was very clean and the guy at the front desk was very nice. The price is fair as well

Horrible, terrible. I forgot to take photos, so there would be no doubts.
Horrible. The night cost us 120 euros. Not even worth 30 euros. They charged us as soon as we arrived, without seeing the room. Tiny room, 135 cm bed, shower where if you bend down your butt hits the wall, bathroom door and frame chipped, old fabrics used as curtains on the window. Wall paint peeling off. Not a single nightstand. A bar with hangers as a closet. The bathroom door opens outward, blocking the exit from the room because it covers the way out.
In short, I would take away the stars.
The only redeeming aspect is the staff, who are attentive and friendly.
Not recommended at all.

Nice hotel
Great location!!! , 1 block from Plaza del Sol. Small room, but comfortable, bathroom with very small shower cabin (if you drop the shampoo on the floor take it for granted, does not give you the space to crouch). Nice staff, good cleanliness.

I can't think of a better place to recommend for such a cheap price.
Being a 2* hostel, it offers the best possible conditions within what it is and there is no point expecting luxury rooms. However, at least the room was single, with private bathroom and shower. The rooms were clean and warm, and everything worked properly. The only surprise was that the room had no window, but you may not have noticed it when booking. Even so, considering that it is 100 m from Puerta del Sol, I can not think of a better place to recommend for such a cheap price.

The location is great, and suitable for short stay, although the facilities are a bit old, and the room is small. It offers free luggage storage.
