Overbooking and helpless manager
OVERBOOKING through laterooms.com (booking.com) I was affected by a serious contractual breach related to my booking made through the Booking.com platform.
On [01/10/2025], after receiving a firm confirmation of the reservation from booking.com, I arrived at night at the Boutique Hotel Oquendo, located at Calle de Oquendo, 14B, Madrid, Spain, 28006.
Upon arrival, the establishment informed me that it was in a situation of overbooking and that it had no available room for me, despite the confirmed reservation.
This breach resulted in:
The impossibility of enjoying the reserved and confirmed room
The obligation to urgently find alternative accommodation at 8:00 p.m., during the Fruit Attraction trade fair
A considerable extra financial cost due to limited availability
Moral and material harm (loss of time, additional transport expenses, stress)
Please make the refund to me immediately, it has been 6 weeks already !
