Hostal Pons is located 250 metres from Palma's port. Set in an old Mallorcan house, it offers a garden, terrace and traditional rooms with free Wi-Fi. The traditional-style rooms feature 19th-century style décor.

Good location, staff, and stay
The location of the hotel is right near the center of town. Lots of shopping, restaurants, and places to visit. The Cathedral is about a 10-minute walk, and you can catch the Hop On Hop Off bus there. The airport bus stops about a 10-minute walk away. The rooms are a floor above, so you have to climb at least a flight of stairs. The reception was helpful and friendly. The bathroom was shared as it was not that inconvenient. The room was a good size, with an old-fashioned bed, a cupboard, and other furniture. It aligned with the hotel's vibe. Good to stay here as a tourist.

Great location, but too expensive
The staff is friendly and always helpful. Also the location is top, right in the center, convenient to get around the city.
However, for what it costs, there are several things wrong: shared bathroom, no breakfast included and rather old room, with little light and dated furniture. In general it is not very comfortable.

Great place to stay!
We stayed 2 nights here and loved it! Really friendly staff and in a great location. We were in a private bedroom with a shared bathroom. Everything was spotless. We had a small room off our bedroom with a sink and mirror which was really useful. Room was really spacious and had loads of wardrobe space for our belongings. Would stay again if we are ever in Palma again- thank you!

Clean, basic hostel
This basic hostel is spotlessly clean, in a great location with charming staff. We had a room with a private bathroom as we do not like to share a bathroom. It is good for 1 or 2 nights, not sure that I would want to stay any longer as it really is very basic but if you are a budget traveller it is perfect. The wifi is good and there are lots of public areas where you can sit with your laptop or book. There are lots of little bars and cafes nearby and they will store your luggage for you. I would recommend.

Very poor place to stay at
The only positive aspects are Victoria's service and the cleanliness of the “hostal”.
Otherwise, I wouldn't recommend it because it only has the basics: I stayed at a tiny single room with a high ceiling, a tiny high window that's impossible to open, no TV, a shared, plain bathroom with no bath mat. Ihad to ask for a towel, there are four hangers stuck to the wall, and a mosaic floor. It’s more like a prison than a hotel!!!
And 15-20 minutes from the center... I think it's one of my worst stays in Europe. And the price isn't low!!!!!
