Great location, familial atmosphere, free wifi
Great location in the middle of old town. The place is directen by owners personally, so don't expect an anonymous cold lobby, you will find a warm, familial atmosphere, where they will try to do whatever is needed to make you happy if you ask them graciously. Great wifi connection. The double is well funirshed and spacious an view on the old market - single was small but familial, you will warm to it after the first day - surprising good matteress! Windows are quite insulated- even being in town practically noisefree.

Very basic
Stayed here with 2 other friends in a triple room in May. Only stayed as we were going to a match in Bilbao.
Not easy to find but close to the train station which was good. As previously stated staff don't speak much English. Strange room with the shower in the room so not suitable for a group staying together. Good bit of noise in the mornings with staff cleaning and hovering outside the room early in the morning when guests were asleep.
It was cheap so probably worth the money paid

Different
On the positive side there are clean sheets and towels and despite the hoteliers having no English, they tried very hard using Google translate to be as helpful as possible.
It is camping with style. Shared toilet could do with a freshen up and the fixtures and fittings in the room are dated and sparse. Shower, wash hand basin and TV, no kettle or fridge. The stairs up are steep and was difficult carrying a case up. The balconies are not completely separate which didn't make me feel secure.
All in all a very expensive for what is offered.

Unhelpful, no English, rude speaking
The worst hotel I have ever been to I have traveled the world for many years and the owners of this establishment have to be the rudest I have ever met, no understanding of basic English, toilets were outside the room which is very inconvenient, the building is very old and you can tell walking to the toilet or your room you hear all the creks of the wood and the lighting is bad, the room was clean bad dacor very dated and not matching, friend was visiting me in the morning and the owners wouldn't let them use to toilet, not recommended, not worth the trouble from the worst customer service in a service industry.

Too expensive for a low quality
The location is great, very close to the city center, bars and restaurants, shops and means of transport, but that's all we got for the 50€ we paid a night.
Very old premises, though the bed was quite comfortable.
Owners are quite nice and (too) talkative.
Not such a bad place if you can't find a better one anywhere else. Prepare for a noisy night!
