Aimia Hotel & Spa is located just metres from the Sóller Port, in the northwest of Mallorca. It offers a magnificent outdoor pool, free internet and a well-equipped spa.

Lovely hotel, great location.
Stayed here for 3 nights and have to say was really impressed with most aspects. We checked in and got a deal for an upgrade to a superior room and glad we did as later found out the standard rooms have a standing only balcony at 1 metre. It was very quiet around the hotel most of the time as being early in the season. Weather was glorious which was a bonus for early April, so pool times were perfect, albeit very cold!
Drink prices were typical, food from the lunch snack menu a little limited but well presented and tasty. Breakfast was good. Not the biggest of choice but enough and the eggs were very good. My wife had an omelette made to order one day which she enjoyed.
Location is great too, 2 minute walk to shops, bars, restaurants and the sea. The resort is lovely, great for strolling and having a mooch. I had a run up the hills one day and found a great place for sheer sea views.
The tram runs through the resort and was easy to get and worth it for the views through the orange and lemon trees to Soller itself. It was the beginning of the orange fiesta so plenty going on.
All told, a very enjoyable break in a truly magical place, and would return in a heartbeat.

An oasis of calm
This is a great Hotel, an oasis of calm! The pool area is always quiet and relaxing with loads of space. The spa was always empty. The hotel never felt busy. Massive thanks to Lluc who made sure we had eclipse glasses and went out of his way at every opportunity to help us whenever we needed anything.

Fantastic family hotel
The location is spot on! 1 min walk to the beach and in a quite area still. The atmosphere around the pool is lovely everyone respectful to each other and soft music in the back ground giving a nice atmosphere. The rooms are spacious and very clean with great size balcony's. The only thing I would suggest is that it could be staffed a bit better in the days. As we noticed when people had drinks and food on the sunbeds around the pool these weren't cleared up and then that attracted wasps. It would have been nice to see more staff serving and clearing up.
On the whole a fantastic family hotel with great friendly staff! We will all be back xxx

Lovely staff but tired & dated rooms
Great staff who work tirelessly at a hotel in a top location, just one road back from Puerto Soller seafront, offering a superb breakfast, one of the best I have had during a hotel stay. Neither was there a shortage of sun loungers, so the communal facilities were just fine.
But, and I have to say this, the room we had was not good. There was no full length wardrobe so any dresses could not hang freely, the bed slipped away from the headboard if you tried to prop yourself up on it. The mattress was not of good quality, both my husband & I left with back ache after a week. For the money I did expect a better experience. The furniture in the room was chipped & paintwork looked tired. Overall it just looked a bit sad. The bathroom was dated - the shower rail didn’t like being adjusted, the tiling had been bodged. It was not a professional finish. I would have asked to be moved but I knew they were fully booked. This place gets lots of rave reviews, perhaps we were just unlucky, but I won’t be back.

These are all details that can have a significant impact on the comfort of a stay, and we’re disappointed that we didn’t provide you with the experience you deserved.
You are absolutely right that, had we been aware of these issues during your stay, we would have liked the opportunity to inspect the room and see what could be done. Unfortunately, as you mention, we were fully booked at the time, so moving rooms was not an option. Nevertheless, some of the issues you describe should have been brought to our attention so that we could at least have tried to find a solution.
We are currently working on the gradual refurbishment and improvement of our rooms, and feedback such as yours helps us identify where our priorities should be.
We’re sorry that, despite the many positive aspects you found at Aimia, the condition of the room ultimately affected your overall impression and means you would not consider returning.
