Set right by Pite Havsbad Beach, this is one of northern Europe’s largest tourist resorts. It offers a water park, activity house and spa facilities. Piteå town centre is a 15-minute drive away.

There's nothing missing!
Fabulous hotel! Everything is there there is nothing missing! Snowmobiling at the hotel gates, dogs sledging in a kennel in the village next door, introduction to polar life in the forest a 10 mnts walk away, and once the activities are over you can go to the acquaparc , or bowling! Optional alpine skiing. In a small resort 20 minutes by van transfer for half a day where we were a dozen on the slopes!

Magical stay in Lapland!
We had a magical stay in Lapland with the agency Quartier Libre. The hotel was spacious, very comfortable and offered many amenities. The team on site was really top, always available and friendly. The activities were great: sled dog rides, snowmobile safaris, visit to reindeer farms... we loved it. An unforgettable stay that we recommend without hesitation!

Not the best performance, very beautiful sorroundings but the staff made a poor effort and seemed inexperienced, which affected the overall service. They couldnt answer if our room was ready at one point. Our Deluxe room had candy and dirt under the beds, leaking shower, broken shower head etc. But Pite havsbad is beautiful and a lot too do for the kids.

Mixed experience – needs maintenance and better guest focus
We stayed at Pite Havsbad during the Pite Summer Games, which seemed to apply to the majority of guests (around 80%). Given that this is one of Scandinavia’s largest football tournaments, it was surprising that there were no dedicated areas for playing football and no screens showing matches from the ongoing World Cup. The hotel didn’t seem very interested in creating a football-friendly atmosphere beyond what was shown on the TV in the bar.
Overall, the resort feels worn and in need of maintenance. Many facilities appear outdated, and the impression is that operations are being kept running with minimal effort rather than ongoing improvements.
The staff is mostly young, which is great in terms of opportunities for seasonal work, but some employees seem to lack sufficient training, which affects the service experience.
On the positive side, the small on-site shop is well stocked with most essentials you need for a camping stay, and the prices are reasonable. Food options on-site are also fairly priced compared to restaurants in central Piteå, although the quality is more in line with cafeteria-style food. That said, Strand Bistro stands out as a clear highlight, offering good-quality meals.
One thing to watch out for is parking. Some cabin parking areas are located under large trees that drop a lot of cones, which may damage vehicles. There also seems to be limited control of driving in parking areas, which can feel a bit unsafe.

FALSE ADVERTISING for stays at Pite Havsbad hotel. Nothing to do with the dream pictures that are published. The room is repugnant. It is very old, especially the bathroom. An old lino on the floor and old and broken furniture. We went to report it to the reception showing the pictures of what had been sold compared to the room that was allocated to us. They have told us that these are the allocated rooms and that they can do nothing.
LIES ADVERTISING also on all activities and services.
The whole group of 120 French people were very unhappy because the services they were charged did not correspond to the posted rate. They were told that the tariff was out of date. Frankly inadmissible.
It is rare that I put a negative comment but really there such a level of lies is shocking, UNACCEPTABLE.
