Relaxation

Felt that I needed to get some relaxation in my everyday life and then realized that I had a free night at Scandic that I could take advantage of. I have stayed at this hotel before and was as satisfied now as then with the location, service and rooms.

An overnight stay on the way

Room 173, bv, same floor as reception. Room standard room at Scandic. Lack of safety, kettle. Ok breakfast, but lacked hot vegetables. The a la carte dinner steak did not meet our expectations, the asparagus hard and the meat overrun. Fish ok. Pay parking 105 SEK for one night. WiFi ok.

Nice environment with substandard staff

The room was nice and fresh but the staff both in the restaurant and reception were very substandard in both number and competence. I barely got any excuses even though they forgot about our food.

Summer Stay in Hot Weather

We booked a room called "Superior" it had some extras, but it was still rather small for two adults.
There was no AC in the room (just a fan) and it was extremely hot! Made it impossible to sleep properly. Even so the floor heating was on in the bathroom and the staff did not know how to turn it off.
Dinner was excellent and breakfast was very good too with many choices.

Extremely disappointing stay. The hotel is actively under construction, with dust, noise, and ongoing work throughout the property. It felt uncomfortable and unhygienic.
This should have been clearly disclosed before booking. Paying full price for a hotel in this condition is unacceptable. I would strongly advise travelers to avoid this place until construction is completed.
