A lovely hotel in a perfect location
This was our first visit to Dukes and it won’t be our last. Having stayed at numerous hotels in Bath over the years, this one ticked a lot of boxes. The road is lined with beautiful buildings and our room at the front made the most of the view.
We loved the decor throughout the hotel, our room was lovely. The bed was comfy, the shower and toiletries were excellent. Added bonuses were a Dyson hairdryer, a coffee machine and fans.
Our breakfast was delicious, very well cooked. Although we didn’t visit the bar or terrace we will do on our next visit.
The complimentary brownies on check out were a nice touch as were the pick & mix sweet selection.
Parking is available at their sister hotel a few minutes walk away so no need to worry about your car.
We felt that Dukes was great value for money. We can’t wait to return.

Beautiful hotel in a great location for Bath
Could not recommend the hotel more. Their communication in to the lead up to our visit was second to none. The staff were attentive and lovely.
We arrived on a Saturday morning and parked for £10 in the sister hotel The Bird a c.4 minute walk away. Upon entering The Duke we had a warm welcome with a smooth check-in and shown to our a room, the newly renovated Junior Suite. It was stunning.
The room itself was huge. An entry lobby and a huge bathroom with a lovely free standing bath tub as well as a large rainfall shower. The four poster bed was incredibly comfortable. We were saddened to only have one night. There was also a Nespresso machine for your morning coffee.
We had a rather well made espresso martini in the bar before using the free hot tub 20:00-21:00 before bed.
Breakfast in the morning was located downstairs and lovingly decorated. Options included pancakes, omelette, variations of Benedict with a meat and vegetarian cooked breakfast choice also. Coffee and fresh juice. Staff continued to be attentive and it was a lovely fresh meal.
We will definitely return.

A beautiful, central located hotel with excellent service
The hotel was beautifully decorated and every part of our experience was wonderful. From pre arrival communication, during our stay and when we departed. We could not fault our time here. We will definitely be back.

Good location with very helpful staff.
First time we have stayed at Dukes in Bath, overall a very good experience. Staff were very helpful and welcoming, and always available. Room was clean, recently re-furbished, great bed and pillows, huge TV. Breakfast was very good. We had dinner at the Bird the partner hotel around the corner, again very good. The downside for us was the 35 pound charge for our dog for one night, crazy price.

Wonderful hotel
Very clean hotel, room spotless, bed extremely comfortable with amazing bed linen. The hotel decor is extremely pretty and of high quality. Pleasant stay
