Gorgeous setting

Currently staying here for 4 nights and really enjoying it- the setting is gorgeous. Super dog friendly and lovely clean modern interiors. The team here have been absolutely brilliant, friendly, welcoming and super approachable. Food portions are huge and the food is excellent quality and beautifully presented. What I also like is you can request to have your room serviced, which seems incredibly sensible, I don’t feel I need daily cleaning services and it’s actually been lovely to be able to relax and read, and not be expecting a knock at the door. Honestly don’t hesitate to book - particularly if you are travelling with dogs.

This place was the perfect stop between two places. The rooms were spacious and clean, the bed comfortable and the aircon kept it cool. Restaurant was great, staff friendly.

The rooms were clean. Check-in was significantly delayed. The staff was unfriendly and struggled to manage unforeseen situations. The breakfast was enjoyable. The air conditioning unit was quite loud. I have no intention of returning in the future.

Lovely location with great views from the bedroom and lovely outdoor area . Room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Tea and coffee in the room. No fridge . The staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was ok - nothing special but it was not expensive.

Dissapointing

I do not know why this hotel has 4 stars, it only rates one in my view.
The rooms have been refreshed with brown Formica and cheap carpets, the towels are of poor quality.
The evening meal menu is limited and poorly cooked. One of us ordered fish it came cold with congealed sauce. No help with baggage despite travelling with kids.
One is better off booking a low cost chain hotel room near the airport rather than booking here, and expecting a country house hotel.
