This beachfront hotel with free WiFi access is located 2 minutes’ walk from Cedar Point Amusement Park and Cedar Point Shores water park. The hotel boasts private beach access as well as outdoor and indoor swimming pools.

Very hesitant to book this room due to the price and knowing I was gonna be at the park for most of the day, but you just can’t beat the convenience of being right next to the park. We enjoyed the boardwalk the beach, the fire pit and the outdoor pool. Would definitely stay again.

Top 10 Worst Hotels in America
Don’t make the mistake we made: Booking Hotel Breakers due to the proximity of Cedar Point (in fact, best to visit a park not owned by Six Flags, see my CP review).
We paid $1500 a night for a suite. You have expectations at this price. Our double room for the kids was $900 a night. Not only is Six Flags milking the property, the management team from the CEO, John Reilly, to the GM of the hotel, Paul, to the park operations manager, Ty, they all have zero interest in guest hospitality or learning about guests complaints.
How else can you explain:
No in-room coffee maker
No robes or slippers
No bottled water
Shower with curtain
Zero amenities
No turndown service
No towels at the pools
Dirty and unkept conditions throughout the property including our suite
Management who says “no”’on demand unlike Cameron Mitchell’s motto is “The answer is yes, now what is your question?”
Fitness room that hasn’t been updated in more than a decade, broken equipment, no water, no towels
Even the outdoor bar had no draft beer
Adult bar only offers boxed wine
Bedding is pre 2000’s
Internet disconnects when you travel to a different location.
Pools closed in the morning until 9:00am
When I went to the fitness room the first morning, one of two bikes operated. But you needed a login to make it work. Not only did the front desk manager not know the code, but when I requested two bottles of water, he told me “no way” and “the vending machine is around the corner.”
The only highlights of staying here is the walking distance entrance to CP and the Lake Erie beach.
Lobby decor and everywhere throughout old and dated. You really have to wonder how management actually marvels in guest frustration.

Great location, needs cleaned
Great location for Cedar Point and friendly staff but not the cleanest of hotels. The rooms are fine, very basic. The public areas are all dirty, could use a serious deep clean and power wash. The boardwalk is pretty but again needs to be cleaned/power washed. Not enough staff to maintain this hotel. It serves the purpose for cedar point.
The gym as a joke, if you want to worn out count the gym out. And it was absolutely filthy.

Honestly if it wasnt for the convenience of the hotel being walking distance to the park, I would have only rated this a 1 star. The beds were uncomfortable, the pillows were hard, there were spiders everywhere IN the room as well as dead bugs/guts on the walls, curtains and even in the sheets. There was rust in some areas and a crazy amount of dust and dirt on and behind the furniture. For $400CDN/night I expected WAY better.

The property itself is nice. It is clean and maintained well in general. Good staff. The rooms are ok. Food options at the resort are ok. You pay the premium price for location and accessibility...walking to the park, walking to the beach/lake. Once a year, it's worth it.
